If the prices are low then no problem, but if the prices increases then it will be real problem for the company. The fuel price increase will affect the annual revenue growth. Because whenever the fuel prices increase they cannot increase their shipment prices. FedEx is operating 672 aircrafts and 70,000 motorized vehicles every day this will consume lot of fuel. If the fuel price fluctuation is too much it will affect the business. Core competences are the activities and processes to organize resources to gain the competitive advantage for an organization.
